Faith is just full of life! She loves to explore new things and bounces and trounces around without a care in the world. But, she always stays close to us and will come and check in with that special GS nose tap. Ifykyk. 🙂

If you have ever been interested in any type of competition dog sports, she would be your gal. In an incredibly athletic litter she shows extreme athleticism and a can do attitude. However, she would be just as happy bringing you the ball or hiking, swimming, frisbee or whatever you have in mind. She does have a good off switch.

Frequently when the other pups are off doing puppy things, Faith is sitting near us, just watching and waiting to engage. She is very in tune to people and is one sharp pup. She learns very very quickly. She is available to join her home now, has had her 1st and 2nd vax , is microchipped, akc.

And, most importantly Faith has had the benefit of all the socialization and engagement training we offer before any pup leaves us. She is expected to mature to between 70-80 pounds.

We expect this litter to be medium drive, medium energy. Our pups are AKC registered, from health tested parents and are raised in our home with copious amounts of love and attention. Just on the eve of Veteran’s Day when we remember those who have served their country, The Guardian’s Creed litter made their debut, one week sooner than expected — nine strong, spirited pups also eager to serve!

From their first breaths, they’ve shown the promise that can be developed into the finest traits of the breed. Each pup’s name was chosen to reflect a core virtue of the guardian creed — qualities shared both by soldiers who serve with honor and shepherds who protect with love. Solid black with white markings on toes and chest.

Good job Promise! Weeks of frustration training pay off!

This was the result of weeks of age-appropriate frustration training. We love to see the creativity this breed is capable of. Note that the ramming was controlled, and she was never in any danger of hurting herself.
Problem-solving and decision making instead of acting in frustration or giving up is a part of the potential of the German Shepherd breed, but has to be developed.
It makes for a wonderful and safe companion – nobody wants a powerful dog to get frustrated and lash out.
If you do frustration training, be sure you know the dog and its skills and only offer problems it can solve. Slow and steady does it.

Week Eight

This litter is maturing into a very curious adventuresome group of individuals! And yet even when picked up from active play they instantly melt into your chest for petting and snuggling – we’ve worked hard on that!
Very gentle and responsive to guidance. 
They’re gearing up for play increasingly becomming play fighting and will soon be ready for more outside adventures and road trips! 
As expected, their first sessions outside involved exploration and climbing on their aunts.
